New: AI dubbing, motion tracking, auto colour and a second video track

This is our biggest editor update yet. VDOAPP now behaves much more like desktop editing software — right-click menus, shortcuts, a second video track, a magnetic grid — and gains five new AI tools. As always, all of it runs on your own device.

Five new AI tools

  • AI dubbing — voices every caption in one of 12 languages (including Bangla, Hindi and Arabic), each line at its caption's time, and turns the original voice down. Combine it with caption translation to dub a video into another language in a few minutes.
  • Motion tracking — a text, sticker or overlay follows the person on screen. Great for name tags in walk-and-talks and reaction emoji.
  • Auto colour and Match colour — one click fixes dark, flat or tinted clips; another makes every clip match the one you've graded.
  • Magic resize — switch to 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9 and every clip is reframed to keep the person in view.
  • Even out volume — measures every clip and voiceover and balances them so nothing jumps.

Editing like desktop software

  • Right-click menus on clips, layers, the empty timeline and the preview — or press and hold on a phone.
  • Keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+C, Ctrl+X, Ctrl+V and Ctrl+D join Space, S, M, Delete and undo/redo.
  • Copy and paste looks between clips — filter, adjustments, LUT and effect in one go.
  • Video track 2 — put B-roll over the main video, or move clips between the tracks.
  • Magnetic grid — the timeline snaps to a time grid as well as to cuts, markers and beats, and the new # button adds a thirds grid and snapping alignment guides to the preview.

Our new guide, Edit faster: right-click menus, shortcuts and video track 2, walks through all of it.

AI tools, where you need them

The AI tools used to live together in one AI tab. Now each sits where you'd reach for it: captions in the Text tab; text to speech, dubbing, silence removal, volume levelling and beat sync in the Audio tab; background, face, noise, stabilise and reframe tools in the Clip tab; auto colour in the Filter tab; and Magic resize in the Canvas tab. The AI tab is now a directory of every AI tool — tap one to jump straight to it — and still holds AI highlights and the AI thumbnail maker.

Still private, still free

Every new feature runs in your browser. Your footage isn't uploaded, there are no credits to buy and nothing you export has a watermark. If something doesn't work the way you expect — or you'd like a feature we haven't built — tell us.
