What VDOAPP is
VDOAPP is a free online video and photo editor for creators, small businesses, teachers, students and anyone who wants to turn raw clips into something worth sharing. You can:
- combine videos and photos on a multi-clip timeline, then trim, split and reorder them;
- add transitions, animated text and captions, stickers and emoji;
- add music and record voiceovers straight from your microphone;
- apply filters, speed ramps, slow motion and keyframe animation;
- layer picture-in-picture overlays and remove green screen backgrounds;
- resize for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and more, and export without a watermark.
Alongside the editor we publish in-depth guides on the techniques behind good video — framing for vertical platforms, lighting a green screen, recording clean narration and more — so the tool comes with the know-how to use it well.
Private by design
Most online editors upload your footage to their servers to process it. VDOAPP doesn't. Everything — loading, previewing, applying effects, recording your voice and exporting the finished video — happens inside your web browser, on your own device. Your files are never uploaded to us, so we never see, store or analyse them.
This is possible because modern browsers include powerful built-in technology: canvas graphics for rendering, WebGL for effects like green screen, the Web Audio API for mixing sound and MediaRecorder for encoding the final video. How it stays free
There's no subscription, no premium tier and no watermark. To cover the costs of running and developing VDOAPP, we show advertising on our website pages, such as the guides. We don't show ads inside the editor while you work, and nothing is ever added to your videos.
