Audio tracks
- ♪ Add audio sits next to Add media. Pick one file or several — songs, sound effects, ambience, recordings, or the sound of a video file.
- Each lands as a clip on the new A1 audio track at the playhead. Overlapping clips stack into lanes, so you can layer music, ambience and effects.
- Drag to move, drag either end to trim (the start trim moves the in point), and right-click to split at the playhead, duplicate, mute, loop or fit to the video.
- The waveform follows your trims and loops, fades show as ramps, and found beats show as ticks.
Controls for every clip
Select any audio clip, voiceover or sound effect and the Audio tab gives you: volume in % and dB, pan, fade in and out, in point, length, loop, speed, a 3-band EQ with presets, and effects — hall and room reverb, echo, telephone, old radio, muffled and lo-fi. Every setting is in the exported MP4 exactly as you hear it.
The mixer gained an Audio tracks group and a solo button for each group, so you can listen to just the music, or just the voices.
Four new AI sound tools
- Auto mix — measures the speech and every track, puts the music about 16 dB under the voice and turns on ducking.
- Find beats — on any audio clip; cuts and layers then snap to the beat, and Snap cuts to the beat lines your edit up with it.
- Clean up voice — removes background noise from a recording.
- Trim silent ends — cuts the dead air at the start and end of a clip.

Still private, still free
Your audio is processed in your browser and never uploaded. No account, no watermark. Older projects open as before — the simple background song still works, and you can add audio tracks alongside it.
