How to beat-sync a video
- Add your clips and photos in roughly the order you want.
- Add a song in the Audio tab under Background music.
- Find the beats. In the AI tab, under Beat sync, press Find beats. The tempo appears in BPM, and each beat shows as a yellow mark on the music track.
- Choose a pace and snap. Pick Every beat, Every 2 beats or Every 4 beats, then press Snap cuts to the beat.

How it works
- Onset detection — rises in loudness and in high-frequency energy (drums, claps, hi-hats) mark where notes start.
- Tempo by autocorrelation between 70 and 180 BPM, then a beat grid is fitted and each beat is snapped to the nearest real hit.
- Moves the cuts, not your content — photos stretch or shrink to reach the beat; video clips can only grow as far as their footage allows.
- One undo puts every cut back where it was.
Tip: put your strongest shot right after the song's biggest moment — the drop or the chorus — and use a Flash in speed curve or a Punch transition there.
Frequently asked questions
What kind of music works best?
Songs with a clear, steady drum beat — pop, hip-hop, electronic, rock. Rubato piano or ambient music has no steady pulse to find.
Why didn't some cuts move?
A video clip can't be made longer than the footage it contains. If the next beat is too far away, that cut stays where it is — trim less off that clip, or use Every beat.
Is my music uploaded?
No. The song is analysed in your browser.
